This ensures fair usage pricing, so a customer sending 100 texts in a month will pay less than another customer sending 10,000 texts. You can scale your communications and other consumables as needed while keeping billing simple. You just add your card and set your recharge interval (such as $10 at a time), and then it auto-charges your card on file as needed.
Some of the premium consumable features include AI content generation (create text and images in your website or social media planner) and receiving incoming webhooks (alternative to a paid Zapier plan).
So how much do the "consumables" cost?
You're not required to use ANY consumables!
You can have as many local or toll-free phone numbers in your account as you want.
It's about $5/month to register a local phone number, including the A2P Registration fees. This does not include using the phone number.
A2P fees are charged by carriers (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon) to allow messages from programmatic phone numbers to be sent to users on their networks.

This sounds like the most boring thing you want to sign up for, right? Well consistent NAP is foundational to your business getting found online.
The quick version is that there are dozens of business directories besides Google Business Profile (GBP/GMB), Facebook Pages, and Yelp. There's Bing Maps, Apple Maps, Manta, Yellow Pages, AroundMe, and dozens more.
Most of them copy off the other ones. Problem is that they don't copy consistently or your business name, address, or phone (NAP) changed last year but you only updated one of the directories (GBP) and the others didn't pick it up.
